Michael by Michael Kors Hamilton Pump Review
Meet the Hamilton Pump by Michael Kors…
This Michael by Michael Kors Hamilton Pump has me hooked as being pretty much my favorite pump of all time. The moment I put my foot in this shoe at Macy’s, it was home. I have never, in the history of my feet, ever tried on a pump that immediately fit my foot perfectly. There is usually some degree of wrangling to even get a shoe on my foot just to see how it will feel to walk around in it, this one slipped on perfectly. This shoe has a self-covered 5” stiletto heel with a interior hidden platform that is 1.25″ so it makes it more like walking in a 3.75″ heel. It has an extremly well made leather upper with a nice wide almond shaped toe box. The lining is a padded synthetic lining so it is relatively cushy for a high heel. This particular color is Luggage, and you can’t really tell in the picture due to the flash, but it matches my skincolor perfectly. So much so that it looks like a tan colored nude heel on me and not brown as it appears in the picture. This is a perfect neutral color. And, I love the branded metallic logo embellishment that decorates the upper back heel of the shoe.
I love this shoe so much that a week later I purchased it in the color Cinder as well. This one is the perfect shade of medium gray.
This particular Michael Kors pump usually runs $165, but I have lucked up both times and was able to catch it on sale. You can find these pumps in many different places, I have found them on Zappos, 6PM, Macy’s and Lord and
Taylor just to name a few.
This is the first Michael Kors pump I have found that actually fits my foot without pinching or being just straight up uncomfortable. I have discovered that when I am looking to purchase a high heel pump I need to look for the almond shaped toe box, otherwise they will hurt my feet (short wide foot with a narrow heel and short toes). If you have a foot like mine and want to wear a high heel without torture I would suggest looking in to this particular shoe and looking for the almond shaped toe box in general.
Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts and opinion on this shoe. If you, my reader, have any experience with the Michael Kors brand I’d love to hear what you think. Until next time my lovelies…
